Summerfield HOA

Effective May 19th, Kristine took over Treasurer duties from Vicky Stewart.  Vicky has done a wondeful job taking care of all this stuff over the past couple of years and hats off to her.  However, with her new job, she just didn't have the time to take care of it any more.  Kristine agreed to take over with the caveat that I would help her out since she works 50+ hours a week herself.  She has an MBA with a Major in Accounting and I have time on my hands to help.

We have been going through the financial records and notifying folks that appear to owe dues of such.  In the event that records are not complete or in error, please don't get upset, just notify me at 220-2709 and we'll sort it out.  We have already identified some discrepancies between our financial data base and Elmore Country GIS records.  We will go to the Courthouse to settle those. 

As always we expect some growing pains as we put everything together and issue a financial statement for the HOA.  That will take a little while thought as it appears there are quite a number of outstanding dues due.

Again, Kudos to Vicky,  keeping track of all this stuff requires many, many manhours, and she has voluteers lots of her personal time to the effort, including transfer of data to Kristine.

Vicki and Rob Stewart have both done outstanding jobs!  With the passing of the baton from Vicki to Kristine, there are sure to be hiccups, but we should be used to that!  We still need to have folks volunteer to be ACTIVE OFFICERS on the HOA Board!  Not just in title, but in deeds as well.  If you can't fulfill the duties, and they seem to be time consuming, then just volunteer to help as needed.  DON'T take a spot on the board.  It is a disservice to all your neighbors.  I will step down from my soapbox now...
