The SOA Board approved a project for refurbishment of Summerfield mailboxes. Service will include removal of box from post, replacement of wood that is under the box, reattachment of box, cleaning, rough sanding and repainting of post, scrolls and box, applying new letters and gold striping. Service will be free, unless upper or lower scrolls need to be replaced and if they are, they will be replaced at our cost from Imperial mailboxes. However, donations to the SOA will be appreciated to cover costs of materials (wood, bolts & paint). Labor is provided by volunteers. Service is available only to SOA members in good standing (dues paid up through 2012).
