Who We Are

Sundance Trails is a deed-restricted equestrian community consisting of forty-eight 1 to 6 acre homesites located just north of the Hillsborough/Manatee county line.

Sundance Trails Homeowners Association, Inc. is a not-for-profit association incorporated November 1999 with the mandate to provide for the maintenance, preservation and architectural control of all common areas in the Sundance Trails subdivision and to perform all other duties as outlined in the Association documents. The only common areas in Sundance Trails are the four private roads and the adjacent ditches. The ditches are the subdivision's SWFWMD permitted surface water management system SWMS.

The Association was under the control of the developer until December 2003. The Association is currently managed by an all volunteer Board of Directors elected by the property owners. All property owners in Sundance Trails are automatically members of the Association.

Sundance Trails is located adjacent to the older and larger Sundance subdivision, a deed-restricted equestrian community managed by the Sundance Association, Inc. Property owners in Sundance Trails do not have access to the Sundance Association amenities (marina, stables & park). 

HOA Board of Directors

HOA business is managed by the VOLUNTEER Board of Directors. 

The Board of Directors is elected at the Annual General Membership Meeting held at the end of the year.  Elections for 2024 will be held at the January 2024 Meeting.  We have ONE vacant board position.

Board members are volunteers, and NONE receive compensation for the time they spend or work they perform maintaining the community.  We are all residents in this together.

Sundance Trails - A Deed Restricted Community

Sundance Trails is a deed restricted equestrian subdivision located north of the Hillsborough/Manatee County line in south-eastern Hillsborough County Florida. 

The lots highlighted in orange are located in the Sundance Trails subdivision.

All lot owners in Sundance Trails are automatically members of the Sundance Trails Homeowners Association, Inc., a not-for-profit Florida corporation.

The Association's affairs are managed by an ALL VOLUNTEER Board of Directors.
