Karate would be okay for a 3 year old. That's the minimum age they take them from the ones I had looked into around here. You may want to e-mail Suzy Irwin and see if any of her programs would work for a 3 year old boy. I know she has the youth sports, but I think they have to be a little older for that but she does LOADS of things for the kids so she may have something that he'd fit well into. Soccer would be great too. And baseball takes them at 4-5 so that's another option in another year or so maybe.
