Now you are getting the idea!
You are right Marc...that is what this website is all about. Another way you can have a say is to go to the ''neighborhood contact'' area of the website and send an e-mail directly to your representative. They can print the e-mail and address your concerns at board meeting (I hope), or respond to you if your concern has already been addressed.

Idea
Ginny, thanks. I hope this will be a accepted way for us to contribute. I work a lot of hours as I said earlier and can not be there but there is no reason I can't use the internet it is at home and work for me. Who knows how many people in WP have PCs though. Anyhow I will check in here a lot and help out anyway i can with the little time i have. I may not say what everyone wants to hear but like someone said earlier that's freedom of speech. Opinions never hurt anyone.

No apology necessary....
Marc,
A lot of people don't realize that this is a volunteer position, and there's no need for apologies.
I respect that you are a hard-working family man as a lot of us are. That's why I'm excited to have this form of communication. If you have a question or concern, it's more convenient to email or post a message than to attend a monthly meeting.
Of course our position can be a little frustrating at times, but we will continue to do our best to make improvements. The playground issue has been a subject at a few meetings and I hope you'll see improvements in the near future.
Have a great day,
Mark

golf carts
i moved from kingswood park because they had a playground and a park that everyone in the city was using and destroying the equipment, costing the HOA lots of money every year. we chose to move to west pointe town center because we read the CC&r's and liked them and liked the fact that there were no playgrounds or equipment in the green areas. the park in kingswood park will become a city park eventually with the taxpayers frooting the bill because the HOA will want to dump the extra cost.
as far as the golf carts i think they are a good idea and SHOULD be used to identify non conforming property and activity after normal working hours. also i hnk the board shoukld only confine itself to maintaing what amenities we have now and not looking to make all kinds of additional projects. JUST ENFORCE THE RULES WE HAVE NOW!
