We shared many e-mails within the last couple of weeks about a young mother with dirty blonde colored hair that is pushing a baby girl in a stroller wandering around our neighborhood. She has told various stories of her reason for needing money. The predoniminant one is that her boyfriend just put her out of the car with the baby and she needs cab fare to get back to Kenner.

She has been seen in public locations such as around the Rouse's Shopping Center at Labarre and Aitline and at the old Time Saver on N. Arnoult and W. Metairie. She has also been seen walking in our neighborhood with the same story or soemthing similar.

We have been advised to call the police whenever we see her. She has alledgedly been observed taking social security checks from mailboxes of seniors.

Chris informs us that Wednesday afternoon she saw the blond girl with tattoos pushing the baby stroller in the 3600 block of Bauvais.

 

 

 

If this woman is soliciting on the street, it is automatically suspect that the child may be at risk.  The child services people would investigate.  Unfortunatley they say they need the exact address and will not go to a sighting.

I just saw a blond woman with tattoos walking down Derbigny pushing a baby stroller and talking on a cell phone. When she got close enough for me to see her well, i saw that this was NOT the same woman that I had originally seen at the Time Saver at N. Arnoult and W. Metairie.

This woman did not ask for anything and she was walking quickly as if she was going somewhere. Her hair was very blond and the lady I saw before had dirty blond hair. It was not a matter of her having colored her hair . This woman and the baby were different. I think this lady had a boy even though the hair was a little long. The lady I saw had a girl with wavy hair.
