City of Tulsa Web Page Update

If you've used the City of Tulsa web page
(http://www.cityoftulsa.org) for information, you (like me) have probably been pleasantly surprised on the ease of use and available resources.

Certainly, the Police Department (http://www.tulsapolice.org/) seems to be a favorite destination for many web surfers.
Their "Crime Tracker", "Live Crash Map" and other sites are as informative as they are accessible.

A recent review of the "Neighborhood Resources" section (http://www.cityoftulsa.org/Community/Neighborhoods/) leaves some people longing for an update in several areas.

Although no immediate plans for updates have been made public, the City of Tulsa has received requests for a change.
They include:

1.
Under "List of Neighborhood Associations" -
request to display the URL of those associations with
web pages or allow an active link to connect directly to
those associations.

2.
Request to have the City of Tulsa offer server space for
neighborhood associations to build their own web page.

3.
Create a page that would conduct an annual on-line survey for citizens to voice their needs, concerns and comments about their neighborhood.

4.
Create an on-line map with boundaries showing where
neighborhoods are located.
