Our elderly neighbor was robbed in her own home today. A passerby asked for a glass of water and a second party slipped into the house while our neighbor was getting water in the kitchen. Please BOLO for an older model white car, possibly a ford tempo with a bunji cord holding the trunk down. The robbers were 2 white females.

Everyone: look for a while car like Karen describes with a black stripe running low down on the side from front to back. One of the females is tall with brown or black hair, the other is ''stout'' with platinum blonde or white hair.

If you see a car that fits this description, don't be shy. Call 862-8600 and explain what we're looking for. Say something like, ''It may not be them, but if you have a police car in the area, we'd appreciate them being checked out''.
