I am sure that many of you will agree that we are very lucky to have Plymouth Park, among others, in our neighborhood. Unfortunately, many of our neighbors do not clean up after their dogs, and it is making Plymouth Park downright disgusting at times. Kudos to those who do clean up after their pets, but something needs to be done about this. I have witnessed many people letting their dogs do their business anywhere, including right on the sidewalk, without cleaning up after them. I am not convinced that a dog park is the answer either. Also, every time that the city replaces a piece of the sidewalk, children feel compelled to write their names etc. in it. Parents, where are you? I have nothing against dogs & kids, but people need to start taking pride in our neighborhood!

Plymouth Park Input
Funny that you should mention this. The other night the Tampa heights people mentioned OUR Plymouth Park as something to consider for a ''dog park''! (This was in the council meeting I was watching on TV).It came up as they were talking about things they are considering in their development. Let's be sure that doesn't happen. We don't need double duty. As for the kids writing their name in cement. I did not know that. It does not bother me. Let me know if I can help.
