As folks enter the R. H. area off of Columbus Drive on to Riverside/Kinyon, they do not have to stop until the corner of Peninsular. People tend to speed from Columbus to the first stop sign which sits in my front yard and that means that folks are speeding past our beautiful park where our children play. I have been paying a lot of attention to this practice now for many years and have begun to notice some of the speeders are actually our neighbors. I would ask that we all PLEASE slow down on this stretch of road while I investigate getting a ''Children Playing'' sign posted on that stretch of road.

Speeding on Ridge Ave.

Speeding is a big problem on Ridge. A couple of ''Children Playing'' signs and possibly a three way stop at Ohio Avenue would be a solution to this problem.

I have asked the TPD to have some cops out for traffic patrol on this street in evenings and on weekends (especially nights) since this seems to be the worst time. I was told that traffic patrol doesn't do this at nights or on weekends. Oh well...

Unfortunately, I think that it not be until a child or jogger is hit before something is done about this problem. Sad....
