MY OPINION FOR A CHANGE:
AT THE INCEPTION OF KCT, WE RAN WITH A PRESIDENT, AND BOARD, FOR OVER TEN YEARS WITH NO PROPERTY MANAGER. THE CHECKS, WRITTEN BY HAND, WERE EIGHT TO TEN A MONTH. WHAT HAVE WE DONE TO CAUSE THREE TIMES THIS AMOUNT TO BE WRITTEN EVERY MONTH? AT THE COST OF MORE ASSESSMENTS TO US? THE PRESIDENT AT THIS TIME RAN THE BOARD AS A SUPPORTING LEADER, RELYING ON THE BOARD MEMBERS TO DO THEIR SHARE. THIS SEEMS TO WORK BEST IN A HOMEOWNER'S COMMUNITY. SINCE THIS TIME, WE HAVE HAD MOSTLY AUTHORITARIAN TYPE PRESIDENTS, maybe ONE DEMOCRATIC, WHO HAVE RUN THE BOARD BY DICTATING AND NOT ENCOURAGING INVOLVEMENT AND INPUT, RUNNING THE BOARD WITH A GROUP THINK ATTITUDE (i.e, the car model is defect, but the cost on lawsuits will be minimal compared to recalling the car and reproducing, we can get by). THIS ALSO BRINGS ABOUT BLIND OBEDIENCE, THUS, IN MY OPINION, CAUSING DISHARMONY IN THE COMMUNITY.
LET'S PUT A GROUP TOGETHER, ENCOURAGING EACH TO HOLD A RESPONSIBILITY AND STOP ALL THE EXCESS SPENDING...ABBEY
Managing without a Prop. Manager

I am concerned about enforcing our policies as outlined in the Covenants. How would this be accomplished?
