After a recent experience with the TNWA I have a couple suggestions that I think will improve the effectiveness of the organization.

1) Bylaws for the organization need to be posted on this web site. An officer of the organization stated to me that Neighborhood Watch Coordinators are appointed, not elected. A copy of the bylaws would have been nice to have in that situation. (No point in asking for elections when TNWA is not organized around a democratic model.)

2) Training materials. Our neighborhood watch coordinator has received no training in the 2 or so years she's been appointed to that position. It is creating a great deal of frustration in our grid. Could TNWA post some training materials to this site? Perhaps our Neighborhood Watch group would function better if our Coordinator knew of and performed her duties.
