This morning (Saturday, Aug, 3). We found a dead cat in our front yard on Club Oaks... It was a black cat with white markings on throat and chest.... ( no collar). But it was only the front half of the cat! The hindquarters was missing! There was some intestines scattered about.... On brief glance there didn't appear to be any damage to face and front paws....we bagged it and called 311 who told us to leave at the curb and they would pick it up....and they have picked up parts of animals and this was not unusual.... Just saying, if you have small pets to watch out for them... I'm glad we keep out gate locked!!!

The same thing happened to a cat on Willowridge in my neighbors back yard.

 

She and I have trapped and nuetered over 15 cats, the population is still bad but we did put a dent in them on our street.
