Has anyone else noticed the influx of trash (broken glass, loose paper and other bits of garbage) left in the middle of the street on Cranford *after* the garbage trucks come through? What's up with that...they're supposed to be collecting trash, not leaving it!

Trash in the street
Thats why they sell brooms and dustpans.
I gave up on calling and making complaints about the sanitation workers leaving a trail of debris behind their trucks. They dont care. Its up to us to keep our curbs clean because I have NEVER seen a street sweeper over here.

Garbage
I've notice that they leave garbage where I live also. We need to contact the city sanitation department, and find out why they are leaving garbage in the streets.

garbage collection
I will admit they sometimes leave a mess but the Sanitation Dept. does a pretty good job. Almost anything I can drag to the street before Tuesday is taken. We have it pretty good.
I have friends in other citys where they have to rinse out and separate all the cans/jars/plastic/garbage and cut limbs and yard waste to a certain size or it wont be picked up. Thumbs Up to all you that recycle on a regular basis, it takes me a month to get together enough to put out in that bin.
As long as they continue to empty anything I can get in that big green can and take away the piles of limbs I put on the curb I am pretty happy.
I dont mind sweeping up.
