Speed bumps

I love the idea for speed bumps on our streets. Too many cars fly down them. I just moved to the area but in my old neighborhood in midtown we also tried for speed bumps and the city basiclly said there wasn't enought traffic to warrent them. If we wanted them the residents would have to pay for it.

Yea, I looked it up after someone replied where to go. Not enough traffic per the city code. Have any idea how much they would cost? Have a couple of neighbors that would be willing to pitch in on the cost.
