If you have a driveway, use it. The neighborhood looks like a parking lot. Don't park on the grass..makes the place look low rent.

Hey, 1409 Cedarway, READ THIS MESSAGE. And while you're at it, after you move all your cars out of the road, put your dog up and keep him from messing in your neighbors yards!

Your neighbors are homeowners and are here on a permanent basis, you are a renter who obviously doesn't care. The rest of us care deeply about our homes and their value. If we have to abide by the rules, then it seems that the rules would be even stricter for renters. Perhaps if we ever do get the CC&Rs reviewed, we can add regulations that would make it more difficult to rent. We have to contact the Architectural Review Board to build a deck, why don't we have Ghertner review rental applications to screen these renters better, and make homeowners responsible when we end up with this situation.

I am all for a homeowners rights to rent out their property; however, I do not feel they have the right to put just anyone in their property who will (hopefully) pay the rent. We pay for the privilege of living here; renters should at the very least have to abide by the same rules. When homeowners allow renters to trash up the neighborhood, they are stepping on all our toes, and affecting all our property values. There is a rental home on Woodlands Ave. that is handled by Morris Property Mgmt. that there is never any problem with, yet the home on Cedarway is not handled by an agent, and there seems to be no control. Ghertner was contacted early on with the problem, and the renters did at least stop parking on the common area, but that is the only improvement. Any way we can require homeowners who plan to rent their home out to do so thru a management company?
