I'd like to remind those folks who use Windypine Dr. to access Woodlands Ave. that the red octagonal sign at the corner reads ''STOP''.
I cannot tell you how many times we have nearly been struck by cars running this stop sign. And, no, we weren't speeding, and no, it doesn't matter which way you are going on Woodlands.
This past weekend as we were heading up to Old Hickory a car approached the corner, slowed to take the corner, and just kept coming, despite the fact that we were laying on the horn! It wasn't like we were invisible. There was no way they couldn't have seen us coming.
This has happened many, many times. Please be considerate of your neighbors and their children. STOP AT THE STOP SIGNS EVERYWHERE IN THE WOODLANDS.
