Last week, a man walked into the house I'm renting (400 block of Acklen Park Dr.) during the day, despite seeing my roommate's car and hearing her dog barking. She walked into the living room and saw him standing there. He grabbed her purse and walked out.

She wasn't sure of the model, but it was a newer, turquoise compact car. That's not a lot of help, but it's something.

Last night, there was knocking at our door at 2 a.m. The man at the door said he needed to borrow $10, that his girlfriend was in trouble and he needed help. We don't have a description of him because we didn't open the door, but I saw his car. It was a late '70s pea-green four-door car; I'm unsure of the make or model.
