I would like to see the city put in a walking trail between Kingham Drive and McVay Road. The developers had this road surveyed and registered as an extension of Amersham originally and its even drawn on all maps that way. However, for some reason the road was never created.
I think this would be a great location for a walking trail for the benefit of both walkers, joggers or just neighbors who want to get outdoors. It would also be a great amenity and would add to the astectics of the neigborhood. In addition it would create a natural connection between Keswick and Keswick East subdivisions.
This project could be completed with grants from the city. Since the Keswick neighborhood would benefit as well, they may want to pool their grant monies in order to complete the project faster.
Our two neighborhoods have no parks or recreation facilities for the community to utilize. This project would provide much needed public space and a location for our community to identify with.
