DHA NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH

Posted in: Daybreak
WOW! I want to thank everyone that has agreed to serve Daybreak as a Street Captain. You rock!!! It is so important...now more than ever...for all of us to take an active part in our neighborhood safety. The association is happy to sponsor and implement programs like Neighborhood Watch, but it takes PEOPLE like YOU to make it work!

Lt. Rory Mack met with us last night, Nov 14th, at Milano's to discuss how we can organize a successful program in Daybreak. It was well attended and VERY informative!

We need more street captains- the goal is to have every street in Daybreak represented. Email me if you can help. The next meeting for Street Captains will be held in February or March- stay tuned for more details.

In essence, the goal of Neighborhood Watch is this:
* Learn who your neighbors are
* Get together as a group and discuss NW
* Keep your eyes and ears on what's happening on your street
* Report any suspicious behavior or incidents to the police - 385-5555 or 385-5558
* Any reports are investigated- but it takes a CALL 1st!
* Then activate the DHA Neighborhood Watch Phone Tree to notify the neighborhood about the incident.

THIS IS WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT! Thank You :)
