Jumping to conclusions?

I'm not sure what posting the repliers read. The one I wrote only applied to one isntance of selecting a Block Captain, not all. Please show me my quote which implies otherwise.

Let me ellaborate more to clarify things.

They did not ask for volunteers on that street when Mr. Tarver moved, the word on the street is that Mr. Tarver sought out a replacement and it was not opened up to anyone else. That is hand-picking. If the current block captain had turned it down, then they might have sought out a BC as long as it wasn't Barnes. :)

speculation, gossiping, bad mout

The only speculation, gossiping and bad mouthing I have heard has been right here on the web site. I did stand up and ask the board to try something new because others had voiced their opinions about wanting to see some changes, they gave me an ok, but instead of giving it a chance all I have read is speculation as to what is the board trying to hide, gossiping that the board is out to get someone, who I don't know because no puts their real name down when they post something and bad mouthing again board members. I have tried time and time again to explain about the newsletter but no one seems to listen. My question is does other homeowners not have a right to ask for some changes in the newsletter without being attack?

I am asking one more time, please can everyone just give us a chance to make some positive changes, there are homeowners trying to help make our newsletter better, please just give us a chance. Please stop attacking each other and the board. We have a beautiful friendly community, lets keep it that way. At least for our children who sees every move we make and hears everything we say.

The only gossip you've heard is on this site about the Board? Come on Cathy! Even my swimmers hear gossip about me from ''grown-ups'' in this neighborhood. It's funny what kids will tell you.

We are not complaining about lack of positive change with the newsletter, we want change and Penny has detailed positive changes she would like to see in other postings. Penny cannot make it any more clear. He wants fiscal accountability and answers out of this Board. They are ducking the issues, not you. We understand your points. They refuse to answer, they are not showing Positive Leadership (do I have to go through those points again?), and they encourage through silence attacks on those who dissent.

Please ask them to do their jobs for a change and answer Penny. You are doing yours. What is Will afraid of? Losing a debate in this public forum? Stand up Will, we can't see you hiding behind everyone else.

Maybe we can combine our two interests.

I'm all for positive change and am willing to let you and whoever is working on this to give it a go.

My major complaint has to do with the minutes being removed. That, I do not consider to be positive change. (Other factors stemmed from this as the minutes were then replaced with wasted space, thus the reason for removing the minutes (reducing costs) turned out to be a farce. But I regress.)

Can positive change take place with the minutes still in the newsletter? I think so.

So I ask you, please make your positive changes while retaining the minutes in the newsletter.
