More of the same.
Ok, so Will took down two people's name calling posting, one was mine, one was a Board members. Now a fake name appears insulting my web site? Coincidence? You decide. More like a pattern if you ask me.
Homer was right, I can track New Visitors, Repeat Visitors, Unique Visitors, and Page Viewings. Your ISP assigns you an IP address, I can tell which of you have AOL, Comcast, TDS DSL, ATT dial-up, employment access, etc. On the Discussion Board I can ban IP addresses that post insulting anonymous attacks. That is why certain people have not posted anonymously there. But that doesn't stop them from visiting, does it? Tell the truth. I know the truth, you visit despite your denials.
90% support? I bet if you track the IP's on this site, 90% of the community have never logged on to www.neighborhoodlink.com/howmanythingsdoIhavetotype/willoughbystationinmountjuliet. Can I prove that? No. Neither can the Board prove that they have 90% support.
Let's compare the quality of websites. Let's compare Links. Let's compare quality of community information, ie press references about neighborhood kids. (One previous poster wanted that in the newsletter.) I give positive info about our kids, all I ever have heard out the the BOARD is how bad our kids are, you would think every kid under 20 is a vandal in WS.
Postings might be slow to non-existent compared to this commercialized blast them with ads site the Board embraces, that is correct. Could it be because the Board and their good neighborly friends cannot post anonymous attacks there without fear of exposure?
It's amazing how hits jump to www.willoughbystation.com once a thread here gets hot. The Board seems to run there to look to see what I've posted there. Thank you.
That site costs $14.95 a year to operate, and is non-commercial. The Board site bombards you with advertisements to buy something. Gee, this site is sort of like their wasteful newsletter, full of glossy things, non useful.
Compare the two for content and ''positive'' things about the community, and info you can use. There is no comparison.
For the record, I sent Will an email last month of 7 or 8 things that needed to be updated on this site. Most were over a year old. To the whole Board I will say this: You are welcome, and I forgive your hatefulness.
Stand up and have a nice day.
