A few days ago, I had a phone call from a security outfit which said there had been a recent burglary in the 100 block of my street. Did I know about it. I said, "What street?" and they hesitated and came up with "Grotto." Further, they claimed to be presenting an offer to the neighborhood for security systems and wanted to come talk to us. I said, "Mail the info!" and that was the end of it. But HAS there been a burglary in my block? Is this a scam or just a brazen promotion? Anybody know?
