OK, Is it just me or is it getting to sound like Grand Central Station at all hours???? I understand that these houses have to be built. I understand that people want to move into thier homes. However I feel that we are entitled to at least enjoy our Sunday without the noise polution. It is getting rediculous! Sat at 7:30 am all the way through to 7 PM. Then they come on Sunday and start a little later but still.... Is it too much to ask for one day of peace and quiet????? At least Sunday. We need to enjoy our homes too.

construction noise
Yes, it's a pain. When ours was under construction, I seem to remember that Saturdays had some work going on, but Sundays were off, except in the final week or so, since we really were pushy about our closing date. Now we've been here a year and 3 mo and it's still a mess. Can't get garbage collection to come inside our circle about half the time (haven't received new cans from BFI yet) and it's getting old. Not sure if we have any recourse. I too think we should be able to enjoy our home at least for one day. By Karla |

The Noise
The noise is not fun. I did find out that City ordinance states they can work 24 hours a day...but the noise can only happen from 7am to 10pm. The good news is the noise is not as bad after the house is boxed in. And the homes around Karla's and ours are all boxed out (except for 1 more they need to start for me). Sal By sal |

Construction Noise
The noise is very annoying, nothing like getting woke up every morning to the sound of a truck backing up. I am more concerned about the lack of clean up on a daily basis, I run most evenings and there are nails, screws, bolts everywhere along the street, especially in the main entrance. I am just waiting for my tire to be flat in the morning before I head to work. By Bobby |
