OK folks, we need to get some plans together about how to develop our common areas. We have a huge area on the park side that is part of PW and should be made more accessable to YOU !
Thats right, that 4 acres around the retention pond is ours to use, even though there is no way to get there safely. We need to explain to Hammonds Homes that it's their responibility to pave a path through the drainage easements so that we can get to the greenspace back there between us and the parkland. That's a MAJOR acsset that has been ignored and neglected, as the new homes were build
Now it's time to pave the paths with something durable like crushed rock (granite) roadbase. It should be easily navigated by anyone on a walker or wheelchair, too!
This is OUR neighborhood and it's about time we started getting it polished up.
We never got that web site them mubbled about and promised to look into.
We never got lighting at the Mail Centers. We did good to get someone to take the time to figure out that fuse was blown, which kept most of the street lights in Phase II from working.
Please go meet you new neighbors. Say hello and tell them that they need to be at Kiker at 6pm on Monday.
Better yet, why don't we all meet at the first gate and WALK over there !!
Bring you ideas on how to use the greenspace, else you may not be pleased when your neighbor decides that the cedar's need to be cut down.
We should recognoize houses with the best yards this year and figure out an appropriate award for the worst barking dog offenders.
Marilyn Childress is our Property Management contact (because Hammonds couldn't be bothered to return phone calls, letters, or even registred mail). And guess what, she changed her email address and just forgot to tell ya'll .....
