MOST ENDANGERED HISTORIC RESOURCES CALL FOR NOMINATIONS.
Historic Fort Worth, Inc. announces a call for nominations for its annual list of Fort Worth's Most Endangered Historic Resources.
This list recognizes historic resources within our community that are threatened by a variety of circumstances including deterioration, neglect, vandalism, encroaching development or lack of financial resources. Owners of properties recognized as Most Endangered will receive assistance from Historic Fort Worth in developing tactics to address these issues.
Additionally, properties included on Historic Fort Worth's List of Most Endangered Historic Resources may receive some benefits from increased public awareness and accompanying public advocacy. Historic Fort Worth's 2007 List of Most Endangered Historic Resources will be announced during a media event in May, which is National Historic Preservation Month.
Each nonination must include a cover sheet with the nominated property's name and address along with the nominator's name, address and phone number. Attach a description of the nominated property including a brief history, id possible, and the reasons the resource in endangered. Nominations should be accompanied by at least one current photograph. Accompanying documentation such as newspaper articles may also be submitted.
