As you all are probably aware, the PGA Village proposal is not dead, but has been revived and appears to be headed for approval. I would like to encourage everyone as citizens to voice your opinion to the San Antonio City Council, whatever that opinion might be. Check out their web site at:

Based on all of the discussion heard so far on the topic, your Vistas board has drafted the following position statement:
Vistas of Encino Park Board Statement Pro PGA Village
The elected board of the Home Owners Association for the Vistas of Encino Park, a neighborhood in the vicinity of the proposed PGA site, wish to convey our strong support of the PGA Village as currently being proposed. We believe having such a world class facility is sure to increase property values and enhance the overall quality of life in our community.
In regard to the unquestionable need to protect the Edwards Aquifer, we are convinced that the PGA Village is the cleanest, safest option of all of the likely possibilities for development of that particular site. We believe PGA will also provide the greatest degree of accountability to the public. Considering all of the issues, it is the opinion of this board that the PGA Village is a very good thing for our neighborhood and the other neighborhoods in the area as well as for the greater San Antonio community.
Respectfully,
Clay Bridges, President
Roger Belveal, Vice President, reb@belveal.com
Ann Gabriel, Secretary/Treasurer
Bob Curr, Advisor
Mark Copeland, Director
We also have strong concurrence from our friend and past president, Todd
Spears.
