I went to my neighbors behind me on Halloween evening to ask them to turn down their music. It was about 10:30 or so. Instead of saying sorry and turning it down,I was threatened, my home, my family and even the dog were threatened. This "person" said we were "going down" that night. After throwing a beer bottle at me, he said he was going to party and to just deal with it!! Can you believe this??? I should have called the police and had him arrested, I wish I had. But I'm sure that would have made things worse. My husband went over the next day and this man, lets call him Joe, still made it quite clear he was going to party. I have only complained to these people twice in the year and a half that they've lived here. Never mind the 10 to 20 times I've just laid in bed and "let it go"! I've had it with these people, no more patience on my part. It obviously doesn't pay to try and resolve it yourself. If you have problems like mine, call Jay at ProComm. He will help. The next time I talk to him concerning this matter, he will send another letter to this family giving them 30 days to straighten up or the attorney from ProComm will contact them. We have got to stop this kind of behavior. While "they" have every right to have friends over, they have no right to disturb the rest of us. The law states that there shouldn't be any noise loud enough to disturb past 10 at night. A party this past Saturday night had music so loud I could hear it very clearly in my bedroom, and we live six houses away! Fortunately someone else called the police. I'm going to try and go to the board meeting this Wednesday night and address this issue. There has to be a way to resolve this so that everyone is happy. Please let's get together and work this out!
