I have read all the negative comments made by people about the past due assessments and that the Board is not doing their job. I would like to thank the Board for VOLUNTEERING their time on our behalf. I realize this is a thankless job they have undertaken and I just wanted to say THANK YOU. As far as the past due assessments, I am diligently trying to find out who is past due on my street and ask them why they have not paid. Maybe you want to do that on your street as well. Until we all pull together as a community to help in any capacity we can, there will always be complaints. If you have a problem, VOLUNTEER for a committee and help make a difference.

Late Assessments
I too would like to thank those that volunteer their time. In reference to your post I also have a question. In the recent news letter the names of the streets were posted and the number of residents who were late with their assessments. Is there some legal reason that the actual addresses and/or names cannot be published? This may at least open up a forum for those who have legitimate reasons to defend their actions.

Individuals who are Late....
There are privacy laws that don't allow us to publish names in the newsletter or any public forums with information such as that. We too, if the table was turned, wouldn't want our names published either... So we turn to you as residents to find out who has been naughty and who has been nice. Like elementary schools use the LOVE&Logic teaching skills, why can't we.

Releasing names or addresses would be a violation of the Privacy Act.
