2YR. OLD SON TO THE PLAYGROUND AND I WAS A LITTLE UPSET AT WHAT I SAW. I OBSERVED ABOUT 2-3 LARGE OPENINGS IN THE FENCING, AND THE WATER FOUNTAINS WERE NOT OPERATIONAL?? IF THIS IS WHATS TO COME... I SUGGEST WE DO NOT BUILD THE SWIMMING POOL.. IF WE CANNOT POLICE AND MAINTAIN THE BASKETBALL COURTS, AND KEEP TWO WATER FOUNTAINS OPERATIONAL, THEN FORGET ABOUT A SWIMMING POOL. SAD BUT TRUE. I PURP0SELY DRIVE INTO THE SUBDIVISION FROM WESTOVERHILLS AT NIGHT WHEN I COME HOME TO CHECK THAT AREA, AND IF I SEE ANYBODY AFTER HOURS, I CALL SAPD AND LET THEM KNOW. PLS LETS ALL DO OUR PART SO WE CAN ENJOY THE PARK AND NOT LET OUR MONIES BY WASTED BY FOOLISH DAMAGE....TKS

The fence around the court has been that way for sometime. Everytime we spend the money to fix this, it happens again. So,we have decided not to waste our money on repairs. $500.00 every 2 weeks is a lot of money. We do police it sometimes, but that is very expensive and to do that all the time, we would have to raise the homeowner's dues and I'm not going to do that. The water fountains have never worked very well; we tried to contact the company that installed them but they are no longer in business. (I wonder why) There will be water fountins inside the building when we finalize every thing. I however, agree with the pool issue. we have to get a handle on our community as far as people tearing things up, or we will never get a pool. We talked at one time about getting rid of the courts all together, but we haven't. If people keep trashing the recreation area, that will be a consideration. Like I said before,it is sad that we have people who have nothing else to do. However, they will be caught and prosecuted as soon as we catch them. You'll see, a lot of good things will happen soon. :) WAYNE CHRISTIAN
