I am going on 3 years living in Creekside. There were several reasons for me wanting to purchase a home here.
Good schools, convenient shopping, amusement, and I can go on and on. The biggest reason, however was knowing that for an annual fee I would (We)would have a Homeowners Association that would enforce rules and guidelines. One of those guidelines/rule or bi law is to maintain lawns looking good. I don't see it! I drive around the neighborhood admiring homes that homeowners are proud to display, and my hat's off to them for their hard work maintaining their homes and lawns to community standards. Then you have homes located on both our main entrances up to and including towards the back of the subdivision, that are total eye sores. I have read in past and current newsletter where a yard or yards of the month are recognized, and I applaud those residents. I make it a point to drive by and admire their yards. However, Isn't time to print and recognize the eye sore yard (s)of the month, in order to make these non caring homeowners aware that it is their duty as residents of this community to have a yard that is up to standards. I happen to live next to one of three houses on the block that have foot high weeds (not grass) growing on both front and backyard. I have talked to the neighbor to no avail. It is very obvious that no one on the association is paying attention, because this has been on going for months, and if these people are being notified, well guess what? They are not listening and they don't care! I hope to be here for many years to come. I also hope to see more being done to make sure everyone is doing their part as members/residents of this community.
