I live on a street with nothing but kids on it. It's ok when the children are old enough to take care of themselves but when parents let their 3 or 4 year olds play in a street that winds, it's pretty dangerous. I came down my street, not being able to see if there were children in it because of cars parked in it, which is fine. But if I hadn't expected those BABIES to be in the street I could have seriously hurt someone. Yes, the street does belong to the city, and everyone. But parents, if your children aren't old enough to watch themselves, then don't let them play in a CITY STREET. Take them to a park or put them in your back yards. Someone unknowingly, can hit a child without even seeing them until it's too late.
One more concern to worry about.

easy idea
In any subdivision you have kids playing, slow down yes SLOW down watch for the kids & always think theres one fixing to cross the street in front of you. So in creekside be very safety causious. slow down!! ps im not saying you speed. I'm telling you. |

Speeding
If you think you going fast enough to hit one of those kids, then you are going to FAST. Remember in any residential neighborhood, the Speedlimit is 35MPH. Perhaps if we had more dues being PAID ontop our pool would be done and those kids would be swimming... Good thought eh? But all serious, I see your point, but just because someone is late and might miss that late episode of Ally McBeil, is no reason to SPEED!. Slow down, Watch those kids.. b/c believe me, if your kids was hurt, you'd be singing the SAME SONG! By Brandon |
