Duplexes
Aug 17, 1999
I am in total agreement with everyones sentiments pertaining to the duplexes. And will add that the children residing at these duplexes play in the front yard of a street that is fairly busy. I was driving through one day and one of the children kicked a ball into the street. I slowed down and watched as the child started after the ball aware that I was approaching and without regard continued towards the ball. He assumed that I would stop and he was right but as I drove away I wondered where are the parents and why are they not playing in the back yard? It seems sufficient in size yet everytime since then they are always in the front alone. I feel that these families are new to this enviroment and have not yet learned how to fit in, so to speak. Do they realize that their neighbors are watching and care about what we see. Do they have access to this website and if they knew how their neighbors felt would they participate in making Woodlake a great place to live. I feel that there is only one way to find out, but I would like to read some comments before I do take action.
What if I were to print some of the comments made on this website and mail it each one of the residents. I feel that they would not be offended, I wouldn't. I feel that they are not aware of thing's notice by their neighbors and therefore continue to do as they do. They are humans not real estate that can not take notice. Lets give them a chance to understand that we care about the neighborhood and would like to include them in making it better.
