First, I want to thank Lisa and Andrew, and also acknowledge her ''helpers'' (Laura, Stacey, et al) for really trying to get a community spirit going. I thought perhaps an area online for suggestions would be a good thing. As for my suggestion for an event, how about a ''White Elephant Sale''...If the homeowners in the neighborhood donated some of that junk that they have cluttering up the old attic (you know you have it...), stuff they never really use anymore, we could have a sort of Garage Sale (or perhaps roll it in with our neighborhood Garage Sale...). Proceeds from these donated items could go towards the Neighborhood. I know everyone has some stuff that they want to get rid of, but they know someone else could use it.
