We were unable to get the city to install a traffic light or 4 way stop sign at Sherral Lane & Classen Rd. Our traffic entering Classen road was only 25% of that required or five or more reported traffic accidents in a 12 month period. SORRY!!

So that means...
We need to have more accidents...??? That's our City Council: Working for you...Vote the bums out. |

one more time
We are going to approach this matter again with city council, but this time we are trying to get together with the Longs Creek association. Hopefully this time there will be more voices heard. |

Stop Signs
Not certain about this, but... Seems that the line of site as you are headed north on Classen towards 1604 is mighty short (What with that curve to the south [right, when coming out] of our entrance). Cars coming down that hill are approaching at too high a rate of speed to stop in time, and looking up hill from our entrance, it is difficult to see them coming...Throw in that curve to the north (left) and you have the makings of a disaster waiting to happen at rush hour. Surely the city council does not equate the sound logic of a stop sign with a mathematical formula...There would be too many four-way stop signs that could not meet that formula. This definitely needs to be revisited...and now many of those bums were ''voted out''... |
