Please make plans to attend court on Tuesday. We need to pack the court room.
I went to a crime watch meeting at the apartments tonight. Arrived too late but did talk with the apartments new manager. Of course she said all the right things for me to hear. How they have evicted 27 people, the new patrol system they have in place - which consist of 2 golf carts for all three complexes. She said they are going to make improvements, gate all of the apartments even the park. Convert one of the parking lots into a playground. She talked about how they care about the children there, but not once did she mention cleaning the drugs up, she did say she has run prostitutes off of the property, but she said the prostitues go into the middle of the street. Ok can we really believe this? But they still have not rid that area of drug deals and prostitution.
She did give me a list of their new house rules - here goes:
A. No drinking of alcoholic beverages in public
B. No gathering in groups or hanging out on property
C. No loud music, this pertains to vehicles and apartments
D. Residents will be held responsible for their children, vistors and any damage or house rule infraction casued by the child or visitor
E. All visitors must know the name and apartment number of the resident they are visiting. They will need to provide the courtesy officer with this info
F All residents must be in side by 10PM. Anyone outside their apartment after 10PM will be identified by the courtest patrol and placed in the report
G. No resident is to allow the possession, selling or solicitation of Drugs on the property
H. All infractions regarding the house rule or criminal activity will be noted in the security report and reviewed by management
I. No vehicle repairs are allowed other than flat tires, battery chargers or boost only
J. All persons on this property must provide the courtesy officers with
proper identification upon request.
The new patrol service is Monarch Courtesy Patrol. The Courtesy Officers will be enforcing house rules and assisting residents. THIS PROPERTY IS NOW UNDER ZERO TOLERANCE.
Well, these are their rules. Lets see if they are really enforced. Hopefully the courts will put the pressure on to clean this mess up! Now, it's your job to show up at court on Tuesday the 15TH AT 10:00 AM.
