I recently called the city to see if we could get some of our streets resurfaced. Although our streets do qualify for resurfacing they indicated their was no money in the budget for this until possibly 2002. Considering that next week is the Town Hall meeting to discuss 2001-02 Budget, it is important that our neighborhood attend to make our requests heard by councilmember Alan Walne. Please mark your calendar for August 20th at 7pm in the Lake Highlands High School Student Center, and try to attend.
