Centex is building a large apartment complex directly across form our entrance. We should see a rather large increase in traffic. We will probably be trapped in our neighborhood when trying to exit on Thousand Oaks. If you would like more info let me know.

Comparison of Residential Units
If memory serves me correctly, we have about 240 single family homes in Morning Glen Subdivision. That is about 94 residential units fewer than proposed in the apartment complex. I would expect that our ''lifestyles'' are such that we have selected single family, multi-bedroom residential units of 1200 - 2000 Square feet for each family. The proposed complex has 24 units, (Three bedroom/two bath, 1313 Square Feet), projected. 88 units are projected to be Two Bedroom/two bath, (1027 - 1144 Sq Ft), with an additional 48 units being Two Bedroom/one bath, (838 Sq Ft). It would seem that approximately 112 of the units are somewhat comparable, in terms of size, to the smaller ''residential units'' in Morning Glen. The additional 48 units seem small in comparison. The remaining 174 units are proposed to be one bedroom/one bath units ranging from 548 to 822 sq Ft. I will attempt to get the various floor plans scanned and posted for your information in the next week. While floor plans don't say the tenants will be good neighbors or bad, they may offer a bit more of a definition of the term ''apartment complex''. By Clarence |
