They were actually Tom Thumb bag

the 'boyscout' bags were actually the plastic grocery bags from Tom Thumb or Kroger. If you found one of these hanging on your door knob, this is the boyscout bag they are referring to. I had one on my door and filled it thinking they would pick it up later that day until I read this post.
