the ''bbs'' are plastic the not pellets pellets are made of metal plastic cant shatter glass so you must be thinking of a ''BB'' GUN OR PELLET GUN airsoft is alot less painfull then airsoft and i think paintballs dont shatter glass just look for a orange tip at the end of the AIRSOFT gun its not hard to miss
