Has anyone riding ATV's had any more issuies? It's sad that our Fort Worth Police Officers have to spend so much of there time responding to calls from a few neighbors that cant let people with Atv's and motorcycles enjoy a sat, sun afternoon with there freinds and family.

Whining
I haven't called the cops upon hearing those loud, obnoxious and illegally driven pocket rockets/ATVs/minibikes that parade up and down residential streets and disrupt a quiet Sunday afternoon, but I do agree with you. It is sad that our FW Police Officers have to waste their time dealing with these public nuisances.

Overly sensitive?
Sunday,1/27, two of Fort Worth's finest spent an hour or two writing citations for motorcycles/ATVs in the swamps. Of all things, the tickets were for disturbing the peace/noise. I am now worried about trimming a tree with my chainsaw. It is as loud as some of the bikes that were written up.
What is an acceptable time to make these noises? On older posts, people were complaining about 2am, now 4-5 pm on a Sunday is wrong!!!!!!
Some compromise has to be reached before crazies on both sides of the fence get any more out of hand.

Dirt Bikes
I have been riding dirt bikes for over 20 years. We always load up and go to local race tracks, designated riding areas (like Marshall Creek) or way out to the deer lease. We never ride in the city or anywhere close to a populated neighborhood. I have NEVER had one complaint. I make it a point to not bother other people and other people do not bother me.
