If the majority of us say NO, then they cant drill. Its as simple as that. The City of Bedford said 'No' and didnt sign, and no drilling is going on in their town!

By being passive and signing because you think they will anyway, you are digging a hole you cant get out of. Have you bothered to do any research of your own or are you letting the gas executives woo you with their measly offerings? Please dont be passive, make an informed decision before you sign. They haven't drilled in our neighborhood yet because we havent signed anything yet. If we continue to not sign anything, they will continue to not drill in our neighborhood. Its as simple as that. yes, they will get to the gas underneath at somepoint with or without us signing, BUT they will have to work MUCH harder to get to it and they will have to do it MUCH farther away from our neighborhood. I could care less if they get to the gas under my soil, as long as they are not drilling right next door to my neighborhood. Worst Case Scenario. What If...? It may be rare, so far, but the odds of a major catastrophe are increasing daily. If a gas well did blowout in an urban neighborhood, what would happen? A gas well DID explode in rural Palo Pinto in ?‘05, leveling and burning one square mile, leaving behind a crater hundreds of feet wide. Ok here's the thing: They have been drilling all around us for about three years, there is a lime plant next store, a recycling dump that has been abandoned and is a eyesore/health hazard, three (?) city dumps within 15 miles of us, a sewer treatment plant about 5 miles away, sewer lines that run south of us and a river/creek that overflows and blocks almost all our access in and out of the neighborhood!!!!!! People get real! We live in a great location but we have a lot going on around us already! And yes, I love my neighborhood, my family, my health and Mother Earth....

Could not have said it better myself. We really don't see the point in not signing. The drilling will continue regardless. I think the wall around our community is a great bonus.
