A friend who lives in Forest Hills just told me a house on the corner of San Rafael and San Leandro was the subject of a drive-by shooting last Tuesday or Wednesday at about 3:00 a.m. Someone apparently fired 25 shots into the house, which is owned by an elderly couple, but fortunately no one was injured. With our gates, it seems less likely that anything like that would happen in our neighborhood. Just wanted everyone to be aware.
