Street and Safety Committee?

Don't we have one?

Since our streets are privately owned, I guess that means that our neighborhood is responsible for making our own arrangements for spreading sand and salt to clear our streets. I found that the worst street in the city today were those in our neighborhood! Is this in the budget? Who do we need to contact to make sure this is done during the next winter storm?
some further thought

The city does not sand residential streets either - only main streets. Also, if we sand we have to deal with the mess afterward too. Staying home is really nice, and many people can work from home these days.

yeah, but . . .

for those of us who did have to get to the office, it sure would have been nice if SBB had undertaken to ensure that the front gate was left open so that drivers would not have to wait for the gate to open and then lose traction only to watch the gate close on them! happened to several of us! the back gate might be easier to exit in icy conditions, but then you face the task of climbing onto Highland Road which can be challenging!
