No Leadership in our HOA

I live on Dedham Lane. Lisa, Although I usually don't agree with your tactics, I feel there are just too many strange things going on that don't smell right. Maybe you can say ''other neihbors'' instead of all neighbors the next time you include others in your statements.

I received the fax of our recent HOA Presidents transaction with Stratus and also saw TravisCad online, where it shows OReilly owning the new land that is on Mopac. If it looks like a payoff, smells like a payoff...

Even if you ignore the gross conflicts, there's the issue of the HOA not producing a 2002 Audit. I also just found out, the audits need to be yearly, and the board has not made that happen. Only 2 Audits have been produced in 16 years. You can easily confirm that number with our info center at 288-8663. 2 out of 16 is not leadership at work.

I hope we are able to make the board larger, that painless action might just save our community. As far as I can see, there's no downside to making the board larger. There are plenty of talented professional people in our community that can move our neighborhood forward.

Maybe you don?’t realize that most of the ?“hard works?” done by our Board of Directors were Developer?’s business, not the homeowners association's.

Could you defend your dear BOD by offering us an explanation of the following?

HOW COULD CCHOA HAVE OFFICE EQUIPMENT LEASE AND OFFICE SUPPLIES EXPENSES WHEN CCHOA DOES NOT EVEN HAVE AN OFFICE OF ITS OWN?
