POOL POLES POLL

The Pool Poles were put up for the Swim Team. A For profit group that only paid $10,000.00 last year for the use of the Circle C pool. The residents pay well over $200,000.00 last year for all pool upkeep and life guards.

The 3 Poles with 9 lights (and many lines for weights) were put up without approval from residents. Similar poles in your front yard would need to fit our governing documents and/or get approval from CC Architectural & Review committee (FYI: Susan Hoover runs that too). That would never happen.

So, how can these lights be OK if so many residents have complained? Isn't the pool supposed to be the residents first? Don't we pay for the pool?

POLL: What do you think?

VOTE

1. The poles should STAY.
2. The poles should GO.

See How Much We Paid For This...

Please remember that the Swimming Pool was ''donated'' to us by the Developer in February 2001 at the COST of twice the amount of the fair market value at the time of ''donation''.

Year of 2002:
Operational cost - $223,572
Capital Improvement - $32,621
Insurance for Boiler & Machinery - $755
Property & General Liability Insurance - $7,645
Workers' Compensation - $10,200

Total amount paid by the homeowners (aka:suckers) was $274,793.

Worker' Compensation Insurance

I want to make that more clear for the above item of Workers' Compensation. It was not lifeguard salaries; it was insurance - Workers' Compensation & Employers Liability Insurance Policy with Texas Mutual Insurance Company. Policy # TSF0001120616

$10,200
