In recent years there are many lawyers made a huge fortune out of MOLD lawsuits. Maybe they don?’t realize that all these lawsuits create an unbearable side effect on us.

Earlier this year when I received my insurance renewal notice from my insurance company, Amica, I was shocked to see that the premium had increased by 107% from $415 (Year 2002) to $860. I have my homeowner insurance with Amica since January 1995 and I have never made one, single claim.

I called the insurance company and demanded an explanation. I was told I was the victim of all these mold lawsuits.

Dear Mr. Lawyers,

Next time when you purchase another big house, fancy car?…?….please think about US. Your hard work has created an unbearable side effect on all your fellow citizens. Thank you.

Sincerely,
Lisa
It's the ins cos, not the attys

Lisa,
I don't know you. We've never met. But if you think the lawyers created this mold issue, think again.

The case from Dripping Springs credited for creating yet another ''crisis'' was the fault of the insurance company, which refused to address the real mold problem with their insured's property. They were guilty of bad faith, as found by a jury and a court of appeals. Although not all mold is harmful to our health, it is undisputed scientific and medical fact that some molds to some people can be toxic.

Had this insurance company sucked it up and played by the rules in the first place, there would be no so-called mold crisis. However, when the profits are down and they need to find some excuse, insurance companies turn to their favorite target...lawyers.

Funny, when they sell you a policy, they promise everything is covered; try to file a claim, however, and nothing is covered. In my humble opinion, I think these mold and medical malpractice ''crises'' are nothing more than a ruse for these companies to legally plunder us ratepayers in order to make up for losses they really suffered -- like the rest of us -- in the stock market and from the economy in general. These companies unfortunately are unregulated because of their structure as ''Lloyds'' companies under Texas insurance laws. Therein, my neighbor, lies the REAL problem today in Texas.

Scratch the surface of Prop 12, and I guarantee you'll find the invisible hand of the massive insurance lobby pulling the strings of their favorite lapdog...Sen. Joe Nixon. Oh, yeah, and his insurance company paid him over $300k for HIS mold claim. (My policy doubled overnight!) Pretty cheap price in return for depriving the rest of us Texans the right to have a jury decide our damages in a civil trial.

It's easy to bash attorneys. We're not all millionaires or the cause of financial woes you are suffering. But when you need one, I'm sure you'll hope he's the meanest SOB on the street. Hug your attorney today! You'll be glad you did. ;)

Lisa loves lawyers

Lisa loves lawyers, she's been bragging about how she's suing Bradley...and the board since February, almost daily.

How are all those lawsuits going Lisa? What's the status?

Maybe we should just shut down the whole legal system...since any lawsuit is ''Frivolous'' to someone. The insurance companies would love that.

Oh, and I'm sure they'd still lower your rates and pay up when they should. They're nice folks. They're the ones pushing for Prop 12. I'm sure they'll sucker the slower herd out there to step up and vote for it. The same ones that believe in ''trickle down economics''.

To Attorney Bourgeacq

Dear Attorney Bourgeacq:

I like your last paragraph of your post. I agree with you. If one day I need a lawyer, I would like to have a lawyer that is not only the meanest, but also the greediest to represent me. Ha ha!!!

Sincerely,
Lisa
