You don't have to be an architect, but if you are or you have experience in city planning, please contact me. We will have a rare opportunity to present some alternative ideas to Stratus Properties, who seem to be resceptive to input from the neighborhoods.
Hopefully CCHOA will form another ad hoc committee, although, they already have an existing ''settlement'' with Stratus Properties from last year. That agreement, however, did not include input from you, the members. The board did that on their own. Isn't it time you voice your ideas ?
There will be at least one Town Hall meeting with the developers on this, if not other meetings. We are discouraging other HOA's from meeting separately with the developers, as it is better to do this together, at one time. Together we are stronger and it's easier for the developer and the city, which will ultimately have to approve some zoning changes.
NOTE: This project is going to be built over the pipeline right of ways. And, this project WILL included connecting Escarpment. What we get will depend on your input, else Escarpment may become another race track for young drivers.
