Your developer-friendly board of directors, recently added hundreds of builder lots to the association, just in time for the election.

If you compare the builder votes from the November 2003 voter list, to the new January 2004 voter list, the builder votes went from 81,000 votes (.013% of all HOA total votes) to 552,319 votes (8% of all HOA total votes). The total votes are currently 6.6 million.

552,319 = thats about equal to the votes of 240 homes.

Those 552,319 votes will be part of a new BLOCK VOTE for the board, to keep Bartlett in power. Bartlett is NOT a resident of Circle C, but he's been on the board for 16 years.

That BLOCK VOTE is a big step for the status quo.

Lets have a Resident Friendly BOD for a change!

Vote 9 BOD!
Only vote for a resident.

Go to the meeting. See what is happening in your HOA, before the big special assessments come your way.

Minutes from recreational committee meetings in 2003 reveal O'Reilly's plan to pull in another $500,000.00 by RAISING dues on Homes with higher values or laying out BIG special assessments for everyone.

Do the math

6,600,000 votes

@ 50% turnout, equals

3,300,000 total votes cast.

Minus 552,319 builder votes, equals

2,747,681 non-builder votes.

Divided equally between the four options (3,5,7 or 9 BOD members), equals

686,920 for each option.

But ''builder block'' votes for status quo.

Final tally
3 member BOD: 1,239,239
5 member BOD: 686,920
7 member BOD: 686,920
9 member BOD: 686,920

Even if the number of non-builder votes supporting 3 member BOD is much lower, there is still a good chance of the effort to increase the BOD size actually failing.

Sounds like this should have been done like the Calif recall election. First vote should be to increase BOD size, yes or no.

Second item should be exact number.
