The Hammocks

In the Hammocks Restrictions under pets it reads the following:

- any pet must be carried or kept on a leash when outside of a UNIT of fenced-in area

- no pit bull terriers are permitted

- any resident shall immediately pick up and remove any solid animal waste deposited by his pet 

I thank those who follow the rules and take responsibility for their pets 

Some people are not picking up their dog's waste. It really is disgusting, not only visually but they also attract bugs and flies. Please be courteous and pick up after your dog.

We are able to send notices and I believe over time a fee to the dog owner. If you e-mail Lee Polk about the problem, along with the address of the dog owner she should be able to send a notice to them. I know she will ask for pictures because it makes it easier for her to enforce it. I also know it's hard to take a picture of someone not picking up their dog's waste...but that is the best and fastest way to get that person to start taking responsibility for their pets.
